Our relaxed pub is the perfect environment for long lunches, sumptuous suppers and extends onto the sun-filled terrace throughout the warmer months. Chef Conner Walton-Neil and his talented team are committed to cooking the abundance of seasonal produce surrounding The Lord Poulett. Meat and game from local farms, fish landed daily on the south coast and fresh leaves picked just a few steps away in the Lord Poulett Kitchen Garden. The bar is also kept well-stocked with delicious snacks that are available throughout the day.

Sunday Lunch

The Lord Poulett Arms is the perfect place to enjoy Sunday Lunch. Take a long walk through the Somerset countryside and then join us from twelve til four for our traditional lunch. Chef Phil and the team have carefully curated a menu full of pub classics think succulent, locally reared ribs of beef, inventive plant-based dishes and proper puds. From six until nine guests will be able to enjoy our usual supper menu.


Castlemead Poultry

Stuart and the team at Castlemead have been farming for three generations. Producing the finest hand-reared poultry, we are lucky to have them just a short drive from The Lord Poulett. The birds themselves are free to roam the Somerset countryside, enjoying a varied and high protein diet which improves the quality and taste of the meat whilst maintaining the welfare of the animals.

Longman's Cheese

The Longman family have a wealth of experience and a unique understanding of delicious dairy. The Longman’s are based just across in the Vale of Camelot and have been there for over two centuries. Their commitment to farming and cheese making has won them countless industry awards, a list of prestigious stockists and a superior product that we are proud to have on our menu.

Andy and his family have been farming in Somerset for generations. Passionate rapeseed farmers, the Fussel’s understand the value of great British food and specialise in cold-pressed olive and rapeseed oils using sustainable farming methods. The product itself has national recognition and can be found in kitchens across the country, we’re proud to say The Lord Poulett is one of them.
